Embracing Silence

Here's the second picture to the Embracing series! This one was a real challenge for me 'cause... body symmetry. I'm not very good at that. I don't think I did TOO bad a job, anyway. Same for the chair. I suck at furniture and symmetry and I had to do both. So if the chair or Vassi look wonky, yes, I know I'm not that good at this kind of angle.

This is Vassi Lucadra exercising his Embrace, being that of silence. Absolute silence. When he is in the absence of sound, he is capable of entering a very deeply burrowed state of consciousness. This allows him to reach down within himself to the very core of his inner magic, where the power to cast his spells comes from. Such a deep connection is part of why he's so powerful a wizard. This state also allows him to reach far back into his memory for things others would have considered forgotten. But in order to attain this higher awareness of his existance, he needs strict quiet. It's a means of very deep meditation he cannot do during everyday life. Noise will break him out of this state back to a normal awareness of consciousness, but doing so will tend to make him angry. So when he's meditating... just be quiet and wait for him to come back on his own.
