Christmas Season Is Upon Us!

_{Early Merry Christmas, everybody! I figured it was time for an update since the Christmas season is now all up on us. I've got some updates, both good and bad, depends on how you look at them.

For those of you who don't know, I do actually have a job. I build cars on a factory line. Not my dream job by a long shot, but that's what we've got in this area. Anyway, we've been having problems with one of our suppliers, so we've had some time off, like half-days and such. Well, that free time allowed me to play Skyward Sword more (It's an AWESOME game, so if you don't have it, GET IT!) and get an extra drawing or two in. Fi being one of them. However, my time off comes with a price. Starting the new year, I'll be having to work on Saturday a lot. Meaning even less drawings than usual. Sucks, yeah, but the upside is extra pay. I get paid 1.5 times normal pay during overtime and all 8 hours on Saturday is considered overtime.

But before all that, there is Christmas Shutdown to consider and you can expect a wave of new drawings during then! When does it start? THIS Saturday! So soon, I'll be giving that notebook a workout! I hope you like what comes!

Our family's Christmas schedule changes from year to year, depending on where Christmas actually falls on the calendar. It's a sunday this year, so that makes our traditional Christmas Breakfast hard to hold up since we have Church and all, so we bumped Breakfast to Christmas Eve (Today!) and opened some of our gifts. We'll save the rest for Christmas Day after Church.

And what a haul this year so far! I got some fantastic things!

- Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim!
- LoZ The Wind Waker Soundtrack CDs!
- Ducktales DVD Set!
- 2 Mario shirts!
- Phineas and Ferb Ride Again (DS Game)!

This is great! Now I have games to play once I finish Skyward Sword! (I'm pretty close to the end now, I think) And this isn't even everything! There's still a box to open from my darling love's family, so we're saving that for the special time of Christmas Day! I can't wait to see what's inside! And what's more, I can't wait for her to see what I sent her!

Christmas day is here! We opened our gifts from my lover's family, and boy they really know how to treat us! Personally, I got Phantom Hourglass Manga and Professor Layton: Spectre's Call! My family got wonderful things as well, like my dad got working-out gloves and woodworker's magazines from Britain, my mom got a lovely jeweled brooch and a fabulously fancy keychain, My sister got a Hello Kitty plush, which she adores! A lady who's currently staying with us and her baby got gloves and a little teddy bear, Charlie! Isn't my love's family just the sweetest?

I feel there's some of you out there who haven't been treated by me as well as you should, so during this week I have off, I'll make some surprise gift arts for particular people who have been a real big support to me and my sweetpea! You really are wonderful, folks. I feel it's time I gave a bit back to show my appreciation. ^^ Who exactly do I have in mind? That's part of the surprise! ^^ Merry Christmas!
